The Carbon (Fart)Tax is a Scam!

CO2 & Climate Change Expanded

Changes is atmospheric CO2 FOLLOW changes in Earth's temperature – a cause does not follow an effect.

“..A look back at Earth's historical climate record indicates that CO2 has had little effect on Earth's climates. CO2 levels have been 1,000, 3,000, 5,000 or even 7,000 ppm without frying the Earth or causing runaway warming. Nor have these high CO2 levels acidified the oceans since we observe thousands of feet of fossiliferous limestone deposits over the last 500 million years as life has flourished in the seas. Most life is quite resilient to changes in Earth's atmosphere and oceans. To see a current example of Earth's temperature trending downward while CO2 levels continue a steep rise (see figure below).

If not CO2, what is the most likely cause of global warming? The solar sunspots were numerous and the sun's magnetic field and solar wind were exceptionally active during the latter 20th century and the Earth warmed..”

Recently, solar activity has dropped significantly and the Earth has cooled despite the continued rise in CO2.

A SUN-CLIMATE COINCIDENCE?

Empirical, real world observations indicate that CO2 is NOT having a significant effect on Earth's current or historical temperatures. Any influence by CO2 is clearly overridden by other, natural causes.

Yes, Earth's atmosphere needs MORE CO2. IT IS TRUE!
