Lord Burton, of course, was subjected to the usual dismissal, condemnation and threats for demanding action.

Hollie Greig and her mother, Anne, have seen at close range over many years how the system closes ranks to protect its own - paedophiles and Satanists - at the expense of justice for appallingly abused children.

Hollie had been sexually abused by her father, Denis Charles Mackie, and by many others in the ring for more than a decade before she told her mother. This happened when Anne took Hollie away from the family home because of Mackie's violence.

Hollie said she had not said anything before because her father had threatened to kill her pet dog and her mother if she did. Down's Syndrome children are particularly sought after by some paedophiles and Satanists - it's a way they get their 'kicks'. The 'confession of a Satanist' document says:

These included a Scottish sheriff (a top judge), senior police officers, lawyers, a fire officer, accountant, nurse and social workers. She said that the rapes happened at the perpetrators' homes and inside a temple of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.

One of the more blatant expenses exposés of the weekend was that of disgustingly rich Baroness Uddin's second homes claims.

A LABOUR peer who lives in the East End of London has claimed about £100,000 in parliamentary expenses on a flat in Kent that neighbours say has been unoccupied for years.

Baroness Uddin, who worked closely with Tony and Cherie Blair, has been claiming allowances intended for peers living outside London although she resides only four miles from the Lords.

Inquiries by The Sunday Times have established that the baroness bought a two-bedroom flat in Maidstone in 2005 and has named it as her main home to claim almost £30,000 a year in accommodation expenses from the House of Lords.

Residents from the five other flats in the same block as Uddin’s property all say they have never seen her there. They could see through the windows that the bedrooms were unfurnished.

Last weekend, hours after The Sunday Times had challenged Uddin about her “main residence”, the baroness’s BMW 4x4 car was spotted at the Maidstone flat and members of her family arrived.

A plumber who went into the flat to help the family with a broken boiler said: “It looked like they were just moving in. They told me they were just moving in.” By Sunday night, curtains covered the windows, a light was on in the hall and a mat was placed outside the front door.

The Sunday Times has also challenged Uddin about a further £83,000 worth of expense claims she made before she bought the Maidstone flat in September 2005.

She has claimed that her main residence has been outside the capital since 2001 but refuses to say where, despite repeated questions.

Insisting she had done nothing wrong, Uddin said: “Should the House of Lords authorities wish to investigate the matter I will, of course, cooperate fully.” She said she stayed at the flat “regularly” and that it had furniture.

Yesterday she appeared at the flat but refused to prove it was furnished by showing a reporter around. “I’m telling you it is. You'll just have to accept that,” she said.

Really? Why? Look, the days when we gave any credence to the claims of politicians—which is what people like Baroness Uddin are really—are long, long gone. Your word simply isn't enough anymore. "So what?" I hear the public cry. "Yeah, yeah, it's another politico with their snout in the trough. I'm getting bored of these stor... Oooh, shiny!" But Constantly Furious has pegged all of the bits of the story together to paint a picture of truly stupendous hypocrisy and spite.

But it gets worse: according to Andrew Gilligan, in the Evening Standard the flat she really lived in was Social Housing—a council flat. The housing association receives a massive subsidy (again, from taxpayers) and can therefore keep the average rent for its properties at around a sixth of the market rate.

Gilligan goes on:

"However, even without her allowances from the Lords, Baroness Uddin, 49, is well above the income bracket to qualify for social housing. She has held a number of highly-remunerated directorships at major companies, including former ITV giant Carlton Television, and was a senior employee and parliamentary consultant for the Excelcare nursing home group"

So not short of a bob or too then? Oh, but there's more:

"Because she claims her main residence is outside London, Lady Uddin is also entitled to collect up to £174 every day she attends the Lords for the cost of accommodation in the capital. The amount is paid to peers without the need to produce receipts and many claim the maximum every day they attend.

Baroness Uddin claimed a total of £29,675 for accommodation in 2007/8, a time when the maximum daily accommodation claim was £165 a day. Her bill represents a claim at the maximum possible rate for 179 days, more days than the Lords actually sat that year"

Baroness Uddin: My Lords, does my noble friend accept that our policy on homeless families impacts greatly on those who are waiting on the list? Is she aware that about 25,000 families are on the waiting list in east London? What does her department intend to do about the new housing to be built on the Olympic site to address the need for family housing?

Perhaps you'd care to free up your social housing in Wapping, Baroness? But what I reckon she is probably asking is, "will my noble friend commit to funnelling ever vaster amounts of money to housing associations such as Spitalfields Housing Association?" And, as both Constantly Furious and the Ranting King Penguin have pointed out, there are some awfully familiar names in Spitalfields Housing Association* (which owns the Baroness's Wapping residence).

Internet Censorship by Stealth in New Zealand

Infowars, Prisonplanet websites were mysteriously blocked at the same time as government filter was switched on

The government of New Zealand has quietly implemented an internet filter and is urging the leading ISPs in the country to adopt the measure, in a move that would give the authorities the power to restrict whichever websites they see fit.

The New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) reportedly turned on the internet filter on February 1st without making any announcement, prompting critics to charge that the measure had been activated in stealth.

“It’s a sad day for the New Zealand internet” a spokesperson for online freedom lobby Tech Liberty told the leading New Zealand tech website Computerworld.

“It establishes the principle that the government can choose to arbitrarily set up a new censorship scheme and choose which material to block, with no reference to existing law,” the group states.

The filter is already being used by leading internet providers Maxnet and Watchdog, with the government refusing to comment on which other providers are set to take up the technology similar to that used by the Communist Chinese government and the ruling regime in Iran.

Tech Liberty says that it has received inside information that other companies including Telstra Clear, Telecom and Vodafone plan to implement the filter. Other companies including Orcon, Slingshot and Natcom have reportedly said they will not implement the filter, however, Orcon CEO Scott Bartlett has said it is not accurate to say that Orcon will not be taking part.

A New Zealand government spokesman commented “We anticipate all major ISPs will embrace this development as they have the many other filters they employ on the internet for a range of purposes.”

Around the same time the government’s Internet filter went live, Infowars began receiving notification from readers in New Zealand that their access to Alex Jones’ flagship websites Infowars.com and Prisonplanet.com had been suddenly blocked.

The websites were blocked at the ISP level by all companies using Asia Netcom for their international internet traffic. These companies included Woosh, Telecom, Slingshot and Orcon.

Orcon announced that the loss of access was due to a “technical issue”, yet the block was only removed after five days, following a raft of complaints.

Tech Liberty says that filtered material is being kept secret by the New Zealand government, a policy that contravenes established rules on censorship where the Chief Censor is required to publish decisions banning “offensive” material.

There is therefore no way of knowing whether Alex Jones’ websites were blocked as part of the government’s actions, however the timing of the so called “technical issue” seems an extraordinary coincidence.

The secrecy surrounding the restrictions mirrors government policy in neighbouring Australia where a similar, yet mandatory and wide-ranging, internet filter is being implemented.

Earlier this year, the Wikileaks website published a leaked secret list of sites slated to be blocked by Australia’s state-sponsored parental filter.

The list revealed that blacklisted sites included “online poker sites, YouTube links, regular gay and straight porn sites, Wikipedia entries, euthanasia sites, websites of fringe religions such as satanic sites, fetish sites, Christian sites, the website of a tour operator and even a Queensland dentist.”

The filter will even block web-based games deemed unsuitable for anyone over the age of fifteen, according to the Australian government.

Australian communication minister Stephen Conroy has said the government would be the final arbiter on what sites would be blacklisted under “refused classification.”

Similar internet filtering is being developed for use in the UK and the U.S. – we have covered in depth moves to regulate the internet in both countries.

The official justification for the filters is to block child pornography, however, as the watchdog group Electronic Frontiers Australia has pointed out, the law will also allow the government to block any website it desires while the pornographers can relatively easily skirt around the filters.

The ominous spectacle of major free speech websites going dark in supposedly democratic countries is a shocking portend of what the establishment wants to impose on a widespread basis. Only by screaming bloody murder in defense of the last true outpost of free speech – the Internet – and threatening boycotts and aggressive public relations campaigns can we counter the insidious move to silence the only remaining open forum of lawful dissent.

   New Zealand is being Ethically cleansed the government has just opened the doors and allowed literally millions of people to come in and swamp the tiny population.

   They are giving endless rights to the Maori.

EU TAXING UK DIRECTLY

As predicted, the European Parliament has voted for a tax on financial transactions, to be levied directly by Brussels. The vote went through by 536 to 80: only my own group, the European Conservatives and Reformists, voted solidly against the measure, although we had some support from UKIP and its allies as well as two Danish liberals and two Portuguese conservatives.

Anyone wondering why David Cameron broke with the palaeo-federalist EPP need only look at its automatic support for such measures as this. With a handful of exceptions – such as those two heroes from our oldest ally - the Christian Democrats invariably vote for higher taxes, greater state intervention and Euro-corporatism. I do wish British journalists would stop lazily refering to the EPP as “Centre-Right”; the EPP itself angrily insists that it is “a party of the Centre”.

The Tobin Tax might well be vetoed by one or other of the national governments. But the campaign for pan-European taxation is only just beginning. This will be the big battleground of the next five years. It’s time for a European Tea Party.

Psychological Rape as "Sex Education"

This is a report on a bit of local behavioral engineering in a local middle school here in Texas that sparked parent reaction last week.

The school in the county between south Houston and Galveston, mostly white blue collar.

A middle aged black female school board trustee was scheduled to give a 'motivational talk' to 6th-8th grade girls, ages 11-14, who were excused from classes to go to the assembly hall. The speaker, Shirley Price, told the school principal to leave the hall, which he did.

Then the woman proceeded with a graphic speech about how to avoid pregnancy by having oral sex. Two girls presented a 'sketch' (skit) with an undisclosed demonstration, at the end of which Price kissed one of the girls on the cheek before the whole assembly.

Before dismissing the students Price told them not to tell their parents about the speech.

But many girls did tell their parents.

A mother has taken her seven-year-old daughter out of school after she was made to watch a cartoon showing a couple chasing each other around a bed and having sex.

Seven and eight-year-old pupils watched the controversial Channel 4 sex education DVD, Living and Growing, at their village primary school.

A voice-over on the DVD describes the sex as 'exciting'.

Lisa Bullivant, from Legbourne, Lincolnshire, was so upset by the 'graphic' content, she took her daughter out of East Wold Primary School and placed her with another school.

Mrs Bullivant said: 'The cartoon was very graphic. My daughter was frightened and children have unfortunately been copying what they have seen. Parents should have been given the decision of whether the video should have been shown or not.

'Seven to nine-year-olds should not possess this knowledge. There is no educational or psychological benefit or need for children of this age to have full knowledge of what sexual intercourse actually entails.'

The school sent parents a letter saying they could view the film before it was shown to pupils, but Mrs Bullivant and several other parents were unable to attend the screening.

She said: 'We had no reason to think we needed to. You never think in a million years that would be taught to seven-year-olds.

'We had faith in the head teacher and the school that all they would be learning would be basic puberty. It should have said in the letter children would learn how to have sexual intercourse.'

Mrs Bullivant, who did not want to name her daughter, complained to head teacher Lesley Thornes and the school's governors, and wants a meeting with the director of education at Lincolnshire council.

Genetically modified potatoes stir European passions

The European Commission’s blessing to grow genetically-modified potatoes has drawn bitter criticism from environmental groups and some member states. But others say it is a first step towards protecting the competitiveness of Europe’s farms.

The European Commission cleared the way for cultivation of genetically-modified potatoes in the EU on Tuesday, saying its decision was based on "a considerable volume of sound science". But environmental groups and some EU members are unimpressed.

The Amflora potatoes, produced by the German chemical powerhouse BASF, are not intended for human consumption. The genetically modified spuds are instead destined for industrial use, including paper production and animal feed.

Shortly after the approval announcement, Austria said it was taking immediate measures to ban the cultivation of GM potatoes, and Italy’s agriculture chief said he was prepared to “defend and safeguard traditional agriculture and citizens’ health”.

Genetically modified agricultural products have been a matter of passionate debate in Europe. The Amflora potato, the first modified product to be approved by the 27-member union in 12 years, has re-ignited the battle.

Seed companies have welcomed the decision, saying it should help correct what they describe as Europe’s hypocritical stance on GM products. "We already import hundreds of tons of GM products every year that are found in various foods. Why can we not grow them here?” asks Garlich von Essen, secretary general of European Seeds, the seed industry’s main lobbying group in Europe.

Opponents of GM agriculture say they fear contamination of traditional food crops by laboratory-engineered varieties, arguing that it is impossible to predict the effects the new strains will have on existing ones.

“The debate began on a confrontational tone, and the conflict has persisted because of a lack of transparency,” says Jean-Marc Petat, BASF's environment director. “The public does not have all the information to fully understand the benefits or drawbacks of GM products.”

European directive, or lack thereof

Even as it blessed BASF with its approval, the commission stressed that each member state would need to decide whether or not to plant the new potato.

Following the contentious announcement, France’s Agriculture Ministry said the country's high commission for biotechnologies would have to decide on Amflora’s future. But French vegetable producers have largely sided with a public that remains staunchly sceptical of GM foods.

“It’s a source of fear for people today, and it’s clear that consumers are not ready for GM products,” says Jacques Rouchausse, secretary general of France's main union of vegetable growers. “We have to wait for the findings of scientific research, but today our position is clear, no GM.”

Environmental groups have warned that the commission’s GM approval sets a dangerous political precedent. “We might be inclined to think that letting each country decide is a good thing, but [the commission] could approve all GM requests and then deflect any backlash towards member states,” says Sarah Pecas, GM campaign coordinator for Greenpeace.

But for BASF's Petat, a future European directive on GM must look beyond regional issues of national sovereignty, and consider the prospects of European farms in international markets. “Agribusiness contributes more to French GDP than auto manufacturing, so it’s important for French agriculture to benefit from the latest innovations,” he says.
