Refugees
were being helped on Greek Island of Lesbos by Helston, Cornwall, UK’s tiny
third sector ‘charity’ ShelterBox. I believe that Shelterbox staff
and volunteers have since been swamped by thousands of (mostly young, male,
well-fed and badly behaved) migrants who can quickly turn very nasty when they
do not immediately get their own way when they demand it. So, I believe, the charity has now backed off,
run away, and left their camps to sort themselves out!
Not very responsible,
Shelterbox! You started this, you should finish it.

"UK-based
disaster relief charity ShelterBox has been helping people fleeing
war-torn Syria. The charity, which has its headquarters in Helston, has sent
tents and aid to transit camps on the Greek island of Lesbos – one of the
stepping stones to mainland Europe. "
This charity (above) and this family (below) do not (want
to) understand the massive power of the Web’s social media plus the fact
that most of these affluent ‘refugees’ have fancy mobile phones and are phoning
home to tell all their friends and relatives ‘that there is a really nice
family on Lesbos who look after everyone, and a charity has been set up to
help.’ X thousands!
Hero, or fool?
"For
tens of thousands of desperate refugees landing on the Greek island of Lesbos
the only welcome has been from a British family, the KEMPSONS, doing
their best to offer some humanitarian aid." http://www.channel4.com/news/t...
Every day, more and more turn up, encouraged by reports that Lesbos is
refugee friendly. The Turks are clearly cashing in big style on this
situation and are buying more inflatables to bring even more migrants across to
Lesbos. Luvverly jubberly, money for old rope!
First it was a few boats, then a dozen,
60 boatloads turned up yesterday!
(17/9/15)
Next week it will be hundreds of
boats-full! Then what?
DANGEROUS PLASTIC CRAP, EXTREMELY BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, IS
BEING DISCARDED EVERYWHERE......
Litter lout 'refugees' discard their lifebelts
onto the beach and chuck them into the sea without a second thought.
