SORRY!
I have to TOTALLY disagree entirely with James Delingpole in his harsh and TOTALLY unfounded criticism of the UK's Met. Office,
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/jamesdelingpole/100221883/12-good-reasons-to-scrap-the-met-office/
We always consult the Met. Office online, WE RELY ON IT! 100% for our living,
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/uk_forecast_weather.html We have done so for years, having worked out many years ago that the BBC weather service is hopelessly, continually inaccurate, and constantly, grossly exagerates its weather forecasts -
e.g. a risk of the odd shower is a deluge to the BBC, a little snow is a blizzard, etc. Their timings are frequently way out too! Why do they bother?
The Met Weather Online, however, is absolutely spot on correct, e.g. it predicted a shower, after a dry morning, in London, last weekend, to within 15 minutes! ALL THROUGH THE LAST FEW WINTERS, IT HAS BEEN BANG ON ACCURATE, EVERY DAY!
The UK Met Office privides a
continually reliably accurate service which we thoroughly recommend.
