Britain's rotten Third Sector is not what it seems anymore (since the 1980S) neither are many charities. This is an example of how private companies, corporations, etc, which now have charitible depts. (tax fiddles) are operating to further their own ends. I wish these injured men well on a personal level, but British people need to stop allowing themselves to be "useful idiots" ( a Common Purpose phrase - charming eh?!) to the merchant bankers, Royals and greedy, unprincipled investors, and start giving more careful thought to the huge deception now going on in this area.
And BP are a bloody disgrace! These men shouldn't have taken BP's bribe! They, like most people in Britain, have yet to grasp and understand the full picture of how the role of 'charity' is changing; being warped into something grubby, corrupt and thoroughly unwholesome .
