BETRAYAL 11.11.1997
Do not stand at the Cenotaph now,
You made an Oath of Allegiance, a solemn vow,
For power and greed, you forgot the few
Who died in youth, so the likes of you
Could have precious freedom, independence, free choice,
When triumph over evil, the whole world rejoiced.
Do not stand at the Cenotaph now,
You are not worthy for your heads to bow,
Rather fall to the ground, prostrate and still,
Only in repentance and through forgiveness will
On regaining all freedoms, only then will suffice,
For the Remembrance of those who made that supreme sacrifice

The happy times that...
By nicolette williams on 29th Jan 2009The happy times that we enjoyed,
How sweet the memory still,
But death has left a vacant place,
this world can never fill.
Though your smile is gone forever
And your hand we cannot touch,
we shall never lose sweet memories,
Of you we loved so much.
We don't ask for miracles,
But today just one will do;
To leave the door wide open,
And see you walk right through.
We would wrap our arms around you,
And kiss your smiling face,
For you were very special,
Who no one can replace.
