German industrial giant EnergieKontor wants to erect eight enormous wind turbines in quiet countryside at Gayton-le-Marsh and Great Carlton. At 373 feet/115m high, they would be 84 feet/26m taller than those at Mablethorpe and 79 feet/24m taller than St James’s Church at Louth.

These huge and out-of-place industrial installations will dominate the country for 20 miles in all directions, with potentially devastating effects on property values, quality of life, tourism and wildlife. The only people to profit will be the landowner and the taxpayer-subsidized developers. And if these are allowed through carelessness, many more will follow – plus a network of pylons to connect them.

Tell your family and friends and come to this important meeting to show the vandals that you care about your countryside.
If we don’t act now, we could lose our lovely landscape for ever.
