Author John Perkins (Confessions of an Economic Hit Man) recently talked to Alex Jones on his radio show of -
the mutant, viral, predatory capitalism that has developed in the West over last 30-40 odd years, how it lacks compassion, and its sole goal is to create profits irrespective of the cost to the environment or anything else, and its proponents believe there should be no restrictions or regulations on business, it is for profit only, maximising profits with no care, with no compassion or responsibility. Business should, they believe, own everything police, utilities, the military, privatise everything, etc.(oh dear!)
However, Perkins now says it cannot go on, and even some of the Elite are apparently now having second thoughts about their approach to sustainable resources (oh dear!) poor countries and communities (oh dear!) and business ethics.
Perkins has noticed social responsibility is now being talked of by younger people coming into business from uni. etc. Perkin’s book "Hoodwinked," covers this. In his visits to Business Schools Perkins talks about, in recent years, a change in attitude of students and teachers – towards social responsibility and "change" (oh dear!) How can the
Well, surprise, surprise Mr Perkins! The young people are being taught this Communitarian,
Jones replied to him that we have to be careful that the Elite don’t set up phoney pressure groups, or steer genuine pressure groups and interest groups into a false, controlled community / environmental sector (oh dear!) Do you mean the Fabians, Communitarians, and Common Purpose? Involving Sustainability and Agenda 21, Alex? Perhaps? By any chance?
It is a very interesting conversation where Communitarianism is discussed by two very sincere people (we hope) – from within a Hegelian Dialectic but without it being actually recognised or named as such.
Perkins has flip-flopped from 1) working without conscience in big business, to now 2) worrying about the effect all this is having on the environment and third world countries, etc. – and writing books about his concerns, and is now (oh dear!) being encouraged by 3) third way, sustainability / community ideas and programmes. http://rss.nfowars.net/20091119_Thu_Alex.mp3
Cheesy thinks –
1) Consumerism, Rampant Capitalism, Globalism = the Thesis, causes:
2) Climate Change, poverty, pollution, etc....... = the Antithesis, so let’s do this:
3) The Third Way/Sector, Communitariansim... = the Synthesis, that will put things right all over the world!
Oooops!
This is a perfect example of how the trap works!
This is how it is being accepted, without question!
(oh dear!)
