No Your Majesty, because you're NOT worth it!

The Agony Goes On.

Roll call of the British service personnel who have died since the start of operations in Afghanistan in 2001.

As we are close to the anniversary of Christopher Bridge’s death in Afghanistan, I am posting these video links to reflect my feelings about it. If I offend anyone then I genuinely apologise but it is not intentional. I really do not want to hurt anyone. And I am deeply sorry, but sometimes the truth is painful – agonisingly cruel but necessary.

Try not to get angry with me, I haven’t gone off starting wars by lying. I am not responsible for the deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan however, if I do not voice my opposition to these wars then I, and everyone else in Britain, is indirectly to blame – for being silent and letting it continue.

We are allowing this to be done in our name! Is this really what we all want?

It is time we British grew up! We need to stop squabbling amongst ourselves, and face the obvious truth!

Britain is being grossly mismanaged, it has been for many years, and people from all walks of life are now recognising this.

I am trying to represent the truth in this blog – my true feelings, nothing more! I will not apologise for that!

No Your Majesty,
Because you're NOT worth it!

What did you talk to Tony Blair, and now to Gordon Brown, about?
You are supposed to be Christian, Madge! Stop these wars right now!
Make them stop it, the people of Britain will follow you, not them!

English Sunset.

I want to ride the range
Across those skies of black
I want to see for myself
And see me coming back
And when I've gone the distance
I'll be making tracks
For an English sunset.

We're on a runaway train
Rolling down the track
And where it's taking us to
Who knows where it's at
But if we hold together
We can make it back
For an English sunset
We want an English sunset.

I feel the rhythm of the earth
In my soul tonight
May it never fade away
And I've decided I can live
With humility
And the sad decay
'Cos that's the English way.

We keep the faith alive
In everything we do
And at the end of the road
We still keep coming through
And though it's sad and sorry
What else can we do
It's an English sunset
An English sunset.

I feel the rhythm of the earth
In my soul tonight
May it never fade away
And I've decided they can wait
For the requiem
We take it day by day
'Cos that's the English way
I saw the English sunset.
