"Last week, I reported on the strange eagerness of our Foreign and Commonwealth Office to appease the murderous regime in Tehran. Another example of the FCO's willingness to kowtow to nasty regimes has been flagged up in another newspaper, where a columnist researching ahead of a recent visit to China came across a remarkable statement from the Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, slipped out on the FCO website on October 29 2008, just before representatives of the Dalai Lama were due to hold talks in Beijing on the future of Tibet.

Buried in the statement was Britain's recognition for the first time that, like "all other members of the EU… we regard Tibet as part of the People's Republic of China".

The historic significance of this change was not lost on Beijing, since until then Britain, with its unique role in Tibet's history, had for 100 years been very careful not to recognise Chinese sovereignty over Tibet. The group known as Free Tibet noted that Miliband's concession gravely weakened the position of the Tibetan envoys without getting anything in return – commenting how extraordinary it was that Britain should have "rewarded China in such a way in the very year that China has committed its worst human rights abuses in Tibet in decades, including killing and torture".

One of the few newspapers in the West to pick up the full implications of this remarkable change of policy was The New York Times, which headlined a long piece by an academic expert: "Did Britain sell Tibet?". As the article observed, China's press had gleefully explained Britain's climb-down as being due to the West's desire for Chinese help in escaping the financial crisis. Beijing had responded by dismissing the Tibetan envoys with a vicious attack on the Dalai Lama, accusing him of wishing to return Tibet to "serfdom".

How clever of Mr Miliband to announce his betrayal not to Parliament, but via a statement sneaked out on his ministry's website."

Would you have taken your children to Chernobyl after the nuclear reactor meltdown? Of course not, so why on earth would you take them to Florida when the sea and air have been poisoned with in excess of 1.1million gallons of COREXIT ... on top of an estimated 300+millon gallons of crude ... & rising?

Upon my recent return from Peru, I was shocked by the absence of any report on the Gulf of Mexico in the mainstream media! 85 days after the BP Deepwater Horizon rig exploded, the damaged well continues to spew out an estimated 100,000 barrels per day and with the coastal areas of Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida effectively under Martial Law; yet I had to reach page 51 in The Times before finding any mention of the greatest ecological disaster to have befallen the planet! The following day, the Daily Mail ran an article considering the merits of attempting to seal the gusher by setting off a 'controlled' nuclear explosion under the Gulf of Mexico in an attempt to seal the reservoir ... and this was on page 37! Consequently, the uninitiated could be forgiven for thinking that the situation in the Gulf of Mexico was under control; nothing to worry about ... old news!

Initially I found this rather baffling as I was receiving (and continue to receive) daily bulletins from my oilfield contacts, advising that the severity of the situation is such that they fear for the well-being of the South-Eastern United States in the short term ... and the survival of the planet in the longer term! So why the apparent news blackout in the UK? Well, it has taken me a few days to join the dots but the reason is now very clear to me.

Despite researchers, reporters and news crews being threatened with felony charges if they should persist in taking photographs or filming the oil-soaked wildlife and shoreline, and being threatened with immediate arrest and jail if they report on clean-up workers being hospitalised with respiratory difficulties; word is filtering out. The vast majority of US based vacationers are already cancelling any plans to head towards the affected states of Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida in the coming months. BP has already paid out almost $40million in compensation to small businesses in these states and is expecting to receive further claims in the coming months.

Meanwhile, the Florida resorts of Miami, Orlando and Tampa rely heavily on the massive influx of British tourists, mainly families; often combining a week of theme park action in Orlando with a week on the quieter west coast beaches around Tampa, Naples and St. Petersburg, Sanibel Island and the unfortunately named Clearwater.

Whilst the British Foreign Office website advises caution if travelling in Gaza or Southern Israel, there is no such counsel offered for the thousands of British families about to fly unwittingly into the great unknown and play Russian Roulette with not only their own health but those of their descendants.

Dr. Sylvia Earle, a respected Marine Biologist is extremely concerned about the unknown effects of dispersant chemicals. In an interview published in the current edition of New Scientist, Dr Earle says, "If they put dispersants into any body of water without the presence of oil, people would be up in arms about the release of such toxic substances but because they are being applied in the name of remediation people stand by and says it's OK. But it isn't OK at all; it's making the Gulf a big experiment with no baseline to judge the real consequences."

The dispersants causing greatest concern are COREXIT 9500 and the even more toxic COREXIT 9527A. Corexit 9527 is stated by its manufacturer to be potentially harmful to red blood cells, the kidneys and the liver. The chemical 2-butoxyethanol, found in Corexit 9527, was identified as having caused lasting health problems in workers involved in the cleanup of the Exxon Valdez oil spill. According to the Alaska Community Action on Toxics, the use of Corexit during the Exxon Valdez oil spill caused people "respiratory, nervous system, liver, kidney and blood disorders". Like 9527, 9500 can cause hemolysis (rupture of blood cells) and may also cause internal bleeding.

Corexit is more toxic than dispersants made by several competitors and less effective in handling southern Louisiana crude. On May 20, 2010, the Environmental Protection Agency ordered BP to look for less toxic alternatives to Corexit, and later ordered BP to stop spraying dispersants, but BP responded that it thought that Corexit was the best alternative and continued to spray it.

Dr Earle continues, "Deploying dispersants at the wellhead and on the surface many miles from shore is shockingly irresponsible. It means you are taking oil that could be collected on the surface and causing it to go where it is impossible to recover. Life in the water column is exposed to the chemicals from the surface and it's killing all the way."

Much of the 1.1million barrels of COREXIT have been sprayed across the expanding slick from Hercules C130 transport planes. How much of this spray has been carried on the winds and how much has been sucked up into the weather systems which traverse the Gulf at this time of year as they form the seasonal Tropical Storms and Hurricanes? How much toxic rainfall has already percolated into the water table of the South Eastern United States? With another four months of the Hurricane season remaining, the South Eastern United States is likely to become as toxic as the DU impregnated soil of Iraq. It is entirely feasible that Florida and the coastal areas of Louisiana, Alabama & Mississippi will experience be an unprecedented increase in birth defects within the next 12 months. The likelihood of the South-Eastern USA becoming completely uninhabitable, due to the combined effects of the unstemmed oil and untold quantities of dispersant, (not to mention the as yet undiscussed gas clouds collecting over the Gulf) is a prediction that's becoming ever more likely as the debacle rapidly approaches its fourth month.

Yet thousands of British & other European families are about to take part in the most toxic experiment on humanity since British & American serviceman were deliberately exposed to the radiation durimg the period of airborne testing of atomic weapons, by being permitted (even actively encouraged) to continue with their vacation plans into an area that is rapidly becoming saturated with unacceptable (and unreported) levels of toxicity.

The bottom line is that the Industrial, Military, Media complex appears to have closed ranks to ensure that the magnitude of the unfolding catastrophe is deliberately kept from the unsuspecting British & European families, who might actually be safer if they did take their vacation in Gaza! The airlines, the travel companies and the likes of Disney and Universal studios all electing to look the other way, whilst the media dare not say anything for fear of losing £millions in advertising revenues from these vested interests.

I have to wonder who is going to be liable for the compensation claims and potential medical bills when holidaymakers start bleeding from the rectum, an early symptom of blood toxicity becoming increasingly common amongst shrimpers and clean-up workers? Because BP will either be bankrupt by the end of the summer ... or more likely sold off to Exxon!

To add insult to injury, I am receiving reports from oilfield geologists which raise the spectre of the seabed rising due to a build-up of reservoir pressure ... or could it be volcanic pressure? Either way, if the seabed blows (with or without the help of an implanted nuclear device) the resultant tsunami would make the 2004 Asian tsunami seem like a ripple in a pond. In which case, Florida is TOAST!

We'll know soon enough if this threat is taken seriously by the US Government; 'cos they'll either seal off Florida to prevent anyone leaving ... or they'll initiate a vacuation procedure which could result in thousands of tourists trading a Thomas Cook Hotel for a FEMA camp. Tough choice, eh?

If you or anyone you know is thinking of taking a vacation in Florida ... encourage them to do some research for themselves, As least then, they'll know why they start to get ill a few weeks or months after they return home ... or when they see an 80ft wall of water hurtling towards them over Space Mountain, they'll know that it's probably not part of the Disney Parade!

The long term ramifications of the BP Horizon disaster are of such enormity that our collective response to it may well become the determining factor for the survival of the species ... so what are we going to do about it?

Are we going to help raise awareness of what's occurring ... or join the MSM and stick our heads up our (soon to be bleeding) collective Butts?

Since the EU Constitution was steamrolled through in 2009, through fear of economic ruin in the ballot box, just months after we voted no to the Lisbon Treaty the first time, the NWO is making rapid strides here.

Inspired by the Program on Corporations, Law and Democracy (POCLAD) we discovered the hidden history of “corporate personhood”—the legal phenomenon that provides constitutional protections to corporations. Not only is corporate personhood a key component of corporate power, it is one of the greatest threats to democracy that we have ever known. Most people, however, have never even heard of it. In September, 2001, WILPF launched a campaign to abolish corporate personhood. The goal of this campaign is to delegitimize the institution of the corporation as a political entity. The following article is by WILPF members Jan Edwards and Molly Morgan...."

What would change if corporations did not have personhood? The first and main effect would be that a barrier would be removed that is preventing democratic change, just as the abolition of slavery tore down an insurmountable legal block, making it possible to pass laws to provide full rights to the newly freed slaves. After corporate personhood is abolished, new legislation will be possible. Here are a few examples.

If “corporate persons” no longer had First Amendment right of free speech, we could prohibit all corporate political activity, such as lobbying and contributions to political candidates and parties. If “corporate persons” were not protected against search without a warrant under the Fourth Amendment, then corporate managers could not turn OSHA and the EPA inspectors away if they make surprise, unscheduled searches. If “corporate persons” were not protected against discrimination under the 14th Amendment, corporations like Wal-Mart could not force themselves into communities that do not want them.

So what can we do to abolish corporate personhood? Within our current legal system there are two possibilities: the Supreme Court could change its mind on corporations having rights in the Constitution, or, we can pass an amendment to the Constitution. Either scenario seems daunting, yet it is even more difficult than that. Every state now has laws and language in their state constitutions conceding these rights to corporations. So corporate personhood must be abolished on a state as well as a national level.

The good news is that almost anything we do towards abolishing corporate personhood helps the issue progress on one of these levels. If a city passes a non-binding resolution, declaring their area a “Corporate Personhood Free Zone,” that is a step toward passing a constitutional amendment at their state and eventually at the national level. If a town passes an ordinance legally denying corporations rights as persons, they may provoke a crisis of jurisdiction that could lead to a court case. We think both paths should be followed. It was, however, undemocratic for the Supreme Court to grant personhood to corporations, and it would be just as undemocratic for this to be decided that way again. An amendment is the democratic way to correct this judicial usurpation of the people’s sovereignty.

We see that corporate personhood was wrongly given. It was given, not by We the People, but by nine Supreme Court judges. We further see that corporate personhood is a bad thing, because it was the pivotal achievement that allowed an artificial entity to obtain the rights of people, thus relegating us to subhuman status. Finally, because of the way corporate personhood has enabled corporations to govern us, we see that it is so bad, we must eradicate it.

Slavery is the legal fiction that a person is property. Corporate personhood is the legal fiction that property is a person. Like abolishing slavery, the work of eradicating corporate personhood takes us to the deepest questions of what it means to be human. If we are to live in a democracy, what does it mean to be sovereign? The hardest part of eliminating corporate personhood is believing that We the People have the sovereign right to do this. It comes down to us being clear about who’s in charge."

A third and final inquiry into the climategate scandal has exonerated everyone involved and declared that there is no question over the science behind manmade global warming – even though, like its predecessors, it has not investigated the science.

The so called “independent” inquiry into scientists at The University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit found that “Their rigor and honesty as scientists are not in doubt”.

It further noted “We did not find any evidence of behavior that might undermine the conclusions of the IPCC.”

The university’s vice chancellor, Edward Acton, said the report had exonerated his staff and he hoped it would end the “conspiracy theories and untruths” that have dogged the unit, reports Reuters.

Of course this conclusion is hardly surprising given that, as we have previously reported, the so called “independent” investigation was led by Sir Muir Russell – a vehement supporter of the notion of anthropogenic global warming.

While absurdly billing himself as impartial and unconnected to climate science, Russell is intimately involved with The Royal Society of Edinburgh.

The RSE has thrown its weight behind the global warming movement, lending its absolute support for legislation aimed at reducing carbon emissions by 80%, a process that will devastate the global economy and living standards.

This organization has been even more vehement than national governments in its advocacy of the man-made cause of global warming, calling for such drastic CO2 cuts to be made in the short term, not even by the usual target date of 2050.

For the climategate inquiry, Russell constructed a panel of “experts” that share exactly the same views, clearly contradicting the founding principle of the inquiry – to appoint experts who do not have a “predetermined view on climate change and climate science”.

Russell has called for “a concerted and sustained campaign to win hearts and minds” to restore confidence in the CRU scientists.

Climategate Whitewash Complete: Third Inquiry Clears Everyone Involved

Professor Phil Jones, the scientist at the centre of the scandal, will now be reinstated in his role at the CRU, despite the fact that the investigation concluded that some of Jones’ data was misleading and that he failed to act openly in response to questions about climate data lodged under Britain’s freedom of information laws.

“We found a tendency to answer the wrong question or to give a partial answer,” the report said.

Indeed, among the thousands of emails that were leaked from the CRU were communications from Jones specifically asking his colleagues to delete information from their computers that may have called the science behind their findings into question.

Yet, as reported in the London Guardian today, “extraordinarily, it emerged during questioning that Russell and his team never asked Jones or his colleagues whether they had actually done this.”

The report also parroted the findings of The House of Commons’ Science and Technology Committee Report (PDF), released last March after just a single day of oral testimony. Like the government’s report, the “independent” inquiry found nothing sinister in Jones’ use of the words “hide the decline” and “trick” with regards to data on temperature changes obtained from tree ring research.

The independent inquiry even used the exact same wording as the government report to dismiss the notion, claiming that the use of the word “trick” may have been shorthand for a “neat mathematical approach” to ejecting erroneous data.

The STC pulled this explanation from testimony by the CRU itself, which stated:

…as for the (now notorious) word ‘trick’, so deeply appealing to the media, this has been richly misinterpreted and quoted out of context. It was used in an informal email, discussing the difficulties of statistical presentation. It does not mean a ‘ruse’ or method of deception. In context it is obvious that it is used in the informal sense of ‘the best way of doing something’. In this case it was ‘the trick or knack’ of constructing a statistical illustration which would combine the most reliable proxy and instrumental evidence of temperature trends.

Scientist Steve McIntyre, who is mentioned over 100 times in the leaked emails has consistently explained how this explanation is insufficient and falls flat on its face.

On his blog, Climate Audit, McIntyre notes:

“Contrary to [the University of East Anglia's] claims, there is no valid statistical procedure supporting the substitution of tree ring proxy,”

“This is absurd.” McIntyre added, “The trick was not a “neat” way of handling data, nor a recognized form of statistical analysis. The trick was a clever way of tricking the readers of the IPCC 2001 graphic into receiving a false rhetorical impression of the coherency of proxies – a point understood at the beginning by Jon Stewart of the Daily Show, but now misunderstood due to continued disinformation.”

McIntyre points out that at no time did even the CRU itself contend that any of its data was erroneous, so to conclude that it had to dispose of such data is ludicrous:

In addition, their suggestion that Jones and others were doing nothing more than “discarding data known to be erroneous” is simply absurd. There was no testimony to the Committee (nor has it ever been suggested) that the tree ring data was measured incorrectly or that the data was “erroneous” – the data is what it is. The tree ring data goes down instead of up – but that doesn’t make it “erroneous”. It only means that the data is a bad proxy – something that was concealed from IPCC readers.

McIntyre submitted notes to the Science and Technology Committee on this very detail of the matter, however, his detailed description was either completely ignored or disregarded.

The idea that the “trick” was not to conceal data that was out of step with the scientists warming thesis also falls down when you consider that the code within the CRU’s climate models prove that temperature numbers were “artificially adjusted” to hide the decline in global warming since the 1960’s.

This information was leaked along with the inflammatory emails referring to it and provides the real smoking gun. However, predictably, there has been no mention of the coding in the any of the inquiries.

The Russell review said it was not misleading to omit part of the tree ring temperature series but the process should have been made plain in the graph which showed global temperature rises, and which was used in an influential report published in 1999 by the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO).

Again, like the parliamentary report before it, the Russell review also dismissed further allegations leveled at the CRU, including the suggestion the emails proved the scientists were actively subverting the peer review process and operating within a culture of stonewalling dissenting evidence, theories, data and viewpoints.

Those charges arose following disclosure of Phil Jones’ comment to climate scientist Michael Mann of Penn State University: We “will keep them out (of journals) somehow — even if we have to redefine what the peer-review literature is!” in reference to scientific papers they disagreed with.

The leaked emails highlighted CRU scientists routinely referring to any research offering alternate viewpoints as “disinformation“,”misinformation” or “crap” that needed to be kept out of the public domain.

As the London Guardian notes, The Russell report described such actions and descriptions by Jones and the CRU as “robust” and “typical of the debate that can go on in peer review”.

“In the event, the inquiry conducted detailed analysis of only three cases of potential abuse of peer review.” Fred Pearce writes. “And it investigated only two instances where allegations were made that CRU scientists such as director Phil Jones and deputy director Keith Briffa misused their positions as IPCC authors to sideline criticism.”

Once again it will be left to the alternative media and blogs to expose another whitewash report, given that the vast majority of the corporate mainstream media is running with headlines along the lines of “Investigation Clears Climate Scientists” and “Warming Science Vindicated”, headlines that will be repeated ad infinitum by warmists, carbon trading scam artists and eco-fascists everywhere.

Another separate “independent” inquiry, led by Lord Oxburgh, former chair of the science and technology select committee, also cleared the CRU scientists of any wrong doing in April. However, its findings have since been questioned given that Oxburgh admitted that it also “didn’t investigate the science.”'
